about

Here's a song I found on an old computer. Recorded February 17, 2015. The song talks about police brutality and racism. It was in the works of making it perfect. I recently tried to rerecord and add to it, with the death of George Floyd, but the voice I had 5 years ago cannot be replicated. The reason I am releasing this now is because I want every brotha and sista to know that I stand with you. Black Lives matter. IM JUST SO GLAD I FOUND IT.

Verse 1: Young Bradley

First Radio Raheem
Now Eric Garner
Wish I could wake up
And this would be a dream
Instead I'm trapped in a nightmare
And shits flowin down stream
Learn to do the right thing
Or learn to see the world
Through the eyes of spike lee
Then we all might be
Able to be united
But not until NYPD
Starts being indicted
Who governs the government?
We desire some punishment
For what George Zimmerman
Did to Trayvon Martin
The world still remembers him
And remembers Micheal Brown
Being beat down
Now may they rest in peace
Power to the people
not the police
These are strange times
In which we livin
Feels like a manifestation
of the dark days
In which Martin and Malcolm
Were livin
When a homicides caught on tape
And no justice is found
A cry for help escapes
But is nowhere to be found

Chorus: Young Bradley

I wanna be free
I wanna be free

Verse 2: Young Bradley
What happened
to our world
Everyones gone mad
All the good gone bad
Two black teens
committin murder
by any means
yo it’s obscene
Were out here killing ourself
because of racism
Now who’s to blame?
only ourself
I feel so ashamed
to be apart of this human race
Get y’all self in check
Before you murder
Another Zemir Begic
We far from innocent
killing innocent immigrants
That’s crossing the line
Are we that ignorant
or are we that blind
Were trapped in a vicious cycle
Time we free our mind
If your child died from violence
would you say no to crime?
Now when the world gets quiet
Can your voice break the silence?
if so then try it
cause we don’t need another riot

Chorus: Young Bradley

I wanna be free
